The highly family-friendly climbing spots in the Ötztal are easily accessible and offer a huge choice of routes with difficulty grades ranging from three to nine. The places are equipped with a fine snack area, benches and tables amid lush green meadows, and a brand-new WC.

Niederthai and Nösslach. The route names "Akku Leer" (Battery empty) or "Autsch" (Ouch) already reveal the exhausting and sometimes very demanding character of the routes in these climbing areas. One of the highlights is the new, high Alpine Schwärzenkamm via ferrata in Obergurgl. At the end of the ascent at 2700 m above sea level, breathtaking views of the high Alpine glaciers and the surrounding Ötztal Alps await you. For alpinists with an excellent stamina and enough endurance the 44 multi-pitch routes offer a truly exciting challenge on fabulous granite walls.

The scenic Sölden/Moosalm climbing garden can be easily reached within a 30 minute walk. Some 30 different climbing routes of difficulty grades ranging between three and eight, and a practicing via ferrata promise a fun-filled climbing day for all ages.
